The cost of an office move is rarely the moving — it is the hours your team cannot work. So commercial jobs are scheduled around that. Most of ours run Friday evening through Sunday, so people leave one office and arrive at another on Monday morning with their desk already assembled.
We plan from a floor plan. Every workstation, cabinet and monitor is labelled against a destination on the new layout before anything is lifted, which is what makes the rebuild fast instead of a day of guesswork.
Server racks, network gear and anything with a hard drive are handled last out and first in, boxed separately, and never stacked under anything heavy.
Commercial jobs are quoted after a walkthrough rather than from a form. Loading dock access, freight elevator dimensions and how much of the furniture is modular change the crew size and the hours more than the square footage does, and none of those are things you can reliably describe over the phone.

- Building compliance — Certificates of insurance, loading dock bookings and freight elevator reservations arranged with both property managers.

- Whether part of the load goes into storage between leases
Common questions
- Can you move us outside business hours?
- Yes, and most commercial jobs are booked that way. Friday evening through Sunday is the usual window, so staff finish in the old office and start in the new one.
- Do you disconnect and reconnect computers?
- We disconnect, protect, transport and place equipment at the correct desk. Reconnecting servers and network hardware should be done by your IT provider, and we schedule around whoever that is.
