Furniture disassembly and reassembly, done in the same visit
Plenty of furniture simply will not clear a condo doorway or a stairwell turn assembled, and flat-pack furniture in particular does not survive being carried whole. Taking it apart is usually faster than fighting it through a corner, and much cheaper than replacing it.
The part that goes wrong on other moves is the hardware. Every fixing is bagged, labelled against the piece it came from, and taped to that piece, so reassembly is not a trip to the hardware store the next morning.
We rebuild in the room where the piece is going to live, not in the hallway, so nothing has to be carried through a doorway twice.
One honest limitation: flat-pack furniture does not enjoy being taken apart repeatedly. Cam locks and particleboard threads wear, and a piece that has already moved two or three times may not come back as rigid as it was. If we think something is at that point we will tell you before we start, so you can decide whether it is worth moving at all.

- Beds and frames — Slats, headboards and storage bases apart and back together, including the bolts that are always missing one.
- Tables and desks — Legs, leaves and cable trays removed for the carry and refitted on arrival.
- Wardrobes and shelving — Modular and flat-pack units handled properly rather than carried whole and racked out of square.
- Hardware bagged and labelled — Fixings bagged per item and taped to the piece, so nothing is hunted for on unpacking day.

- Time on site, since this is usually added to a move rather than billed alone
Common questions
- What if I have lost the instructions?
- That is normal and usually fine — most furniture goes back together from the joinery itself. If a piece genuinely needs the manual or a proprietary fixing, we tell you on the day rather than forcing it.
- Is assembly included in the moving quote?
- Standard beds and tables are part of a normal residential move. Large volumes of flat-pack, or a full office workstation rebuild, are quoted as extra time so the estimate stays honest.
